The center organizes a total of 12 international mathematics and computing contests. In addition to that, the Department of Physics (resp. Chemistry) organizes the premier Sir Isaac Newton Physics (resp. Avagadro Chemistry) olympiad. The prestige of these contests is very high for those seeking admission at institutions like CALTECH, UC Berkeley, the University of Toronto, the University of Chicago, and IVY League-type institutions. All these contests are at least as hard as the AMC and AIME contests.
