In August 2023, 19 mentees of AMMOC participated in premier Australian Mathematics Contest – the flagship national contest of Australia. A glimpse into records of AMMOC in Australian Contests
Shlok Bhalotia, Sarthak Dhobale and Parth Andhare won Silver, Bronze and Bronze, respectively in the premier Mathematical Kangaroo of the Australian Mathematics Trust, 2024.

- Australian Mathematics Contests, it is like AMC of USA with respect to its mathematical reputation, however, it is for all grade from primary to senior high school. It is the largest contest in the world. There are five categories of Awards –
- Prize – Students above the 99.7 percentile
- High Distinction – Students between the 97 and 99.7 percentile (Between 95 and 99.7 percentile for senior division)
- Distinction -Students between the 80 and 97 percentile (Between 75 and 95 percentile for senior division)
- Credit – Students between the 45 and 80 percentile (Between 40 and 75 percentile for senior division)
- Proficiency – Students below the 45 percentile who have a satisfactory score (at least 32 but may sometimes be lower)
- Mathematical Kangaroo Kangourou sans Frontières is an international association founded in France, which is formed by maths lovers from all over the world. Motivated by the importance of mathematics in the modern world, their passion is to spread the joy of mathematics, support mathematical education in school and promote a positive perception of mathematics in society. The main activity of Kangourou sans Frontières is designing the annual Kangaroo Mathematics Competition. In 2022, it has 84 participants countries and claims to be the largest competition for school students in the world
- Mathematics Olympics of University of Melbourne is fast paced competition that combines mathematical problem solving ability with physical activity and teamwork. Olympics has two segments –
- School Mathematics Olympics (SMO) for school students.
- University Mathematics Olympics (UMO) for university students.
