The “highest contributing team in the Mathematical Reflection, Issue 3, July, 2024” is the AMMOC family.
- In this folder, you can find the official solution to MR Issue 3 (July 24) by Prof. Titu Andreescu’s team as well as the typeset solution files for each of the TWELVE AMMOC participating mentees
- The youngest member of the AMMOC family to have solved two MR July issues is Kalkin Gandhi, a sixth-grade mentee. Read his solutions here.
Research in Problem Solving
By submitting new issues and solutions to previously presented problems in two of the most prominent mathematical problem-solving journals—Mathematical Reflection and Crux Mathematicorum of the Canadian Mathematical Society—mentees of AMMOC are actively engaged in problem-solving research. According to the IMO website, Crux Mathematicorum is the most esteemed periodical for problem solving.
More specifically, following materials will all be freely available to anyone with an internet connection.
- Basic elementary mathematics theorems and their proofs,
- Carefully selected problems and their solutions, and
- Yaashaa Golovanov’s handouts from his daily seminars for his students at AMMOC
Golovanov & his pupils hope that these resources will encourage high school students all over the world to think mathematically and research-oriented from an early age.
