AMMOC is deeply humbled and honored to inform the international academic community that this year’s protégé, Sarthak Dattatray Dhobale, has received a full scholarship from Princeton University for UG in Math in March 2025.
Sarthak Dhobale and Param Bhimani have cleared the cutoff for the USAMO with remarkable scores of 275.5 [Sarthak] and 265.5 [Param Bhimani]. Moreover, five mentees, out of the invited seven, scored [8-13] on AIME in March 2025.

Sarthak, Medha, Prasanna, and Kaushik have won the title of ‘Distinction (first quartile)’ in the Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest organized by the University of Waterloo. Medha, Kaushik, and Sarthak also won ‘International Honour (top 2.5%) by UWaterloo. Additionally, Darsan and Parth won the title of ‘distinction’ in the Canadian Intermediate Mathematics Contest. Raslene Labbedi, Nihad Hashimov, and Parth Andhare have won titles of ‘distinction,’ and Medha, Prasanna, Aaditya, Raeyaan, Eya Rmida, and Sarthak have won titles of ‘performance with honors’ in the prestigious Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge of the Canadian Mathematical Society. The AMMOC Team won third place (virtual round) and the overall top 12 in the prestigious Caltech Math Meet (CMM-2024).

University Admissions 2022-2026. 

  • Riya Shah has received admissions offers from Princeton, and she will major in applied mathematics and economics, class of 2030.
  • Prasanna Mahesh Pawar, a long-term protégé of AMMOC, received admissions offers from KAIST (full ride), University of Toronto, and HKUST. He would study mathematics as a major, class of ’30. We hope readers will benefit from his thesis [at AMMOC], wherein he studied a graduate-level algebra course as a DRP.
  • The most scholarly protégé of AMMOC, Sarthak Dattatray Dhobale, has received a full scholarship [as an international student] to study math at Princeton University for the class of 2029. He studied topological and abstract algebraic structures as part of his DRP, which culminated in his high school thesis spanning 160 pages.
  • Nihad Hashimov, a mentee from Azerbaijan, has received a full scholarship to study UG in math at KAIST, South Korea, for the class of 2029. He was also offered admission with a scholarship to study math at the University of Edinburgh. However, upon our careful deliberation, we agreed to proceed with the offer of KAIST. Nihad studied an accelerated course in mathematical analysis and group theory as part of his DRP at AMMOC, and this culminated in his high school thesis.
  • Indian-American mentee Ishika Ganny has received admissions offers from UC Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon, UIUC, Georgia Tech, Purdue, and USC for the class of 2029.
  • Tisya Chandrashekar Rawat is a rising senior (math) at Caltech. Her current GPA is 4.0. She received full financial aid as an international (Indian) student. Her high school thesis [supervised by Yaashaa Golovanov] earned a special honor in the eyes of the admissions committee of UG at Caltech. The committee remarked that we were truly impressed by your research on classical theorems.
  • Konstantinos Charalampous, honored with HM by the IMO, is a sophomore at the University of Chicago. His current GPA is 3.82. He received full financial aid as an international (Cypriot) student.
  • Adelina Patlaii—a three-time EGMO awardee—is a junior (math and CS) at the University of Toronto. She received the ‘University of Toronto International Scholar Award,’ which covers her cost of education at the University of Toronto. Her current GPA is 3.94.
  • Srabon Nath is a freshman at Columbia University. He received a need-based scholarship at Columbia University.
  • Sathya Raghunathan, an AMMOC student who prepared successfully for FERMAT, CSMC, AMC, and AIME, is a freshman at the premier Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
  • AMMOC mentor Yaashaa Golovanov has received an appreciation from the University of Chicago for mentoring students and helping them in their mathematical endeavors.
  • Adelina Patlatii, Tisya Rawat, and Konstantinos Charalampous were also offered admissions and scholarships by Cornell, the University of Wisconsin (Madison), Imperial College London, the University of Saint Andrews (Scotland), the University of Amsterdam, Jacob University, Reed College, and the University of Waterloo.

  • AMMOC acknowledges support of Russian mathematician turned British billionaire Alex Gerko towards the SuMAC camp fee of Madani Valensi, a protégé of AMMOC. Madani will attend Promys Europe on a full scholarship, which will be held at Oxford in person. He was also offered a full scholarship to attend S. T. Yau Math Camp, founded by the support and academic guidance of Chinese-American Fields Medalist S. T. Yau (Harvard and BIMSR). 
  • AMMOC is delighted to announce that long-term AMMOC protégé Parth Andhare has earned a Certificate of Merit at the prestigious British Mathematical Olympiad Round II (BMO2). This achievement reflects exceptional mathematical talent, perseverance, and dedication at one of the world’s most challenging proof-based mathematics competitions.
  • AMMOC congratulates Team DHM–AMMOC (USA–Junior I) for their excellent performance at the Stanford Math Tournament 2026. Parth Andhare (Rank 9), Prasanna Pawar, Ananya Kalia, and Karma Pillai earned DHM in the Geometry Paper of the SMT. In the algebra paper, Prasanna Pawar and Vibu earned DHM, and Parth and Shaurya Patil earned an HM. Kalkin Gandhi, an eighth grader, earned a DHM on the general paper of the SMT.
  • AMMOC is proud to announce that multiple AMMOC teams earned distinctions at the 2026 Purple Comet! Math Meet, one of the world’s largest international online mathematics competitions. AMMOC (US & Canada) received an Honorable Mention in the High School Small School Division, while AMMOC (US Junior Division) secured second place (tie) in the California Middle School Small School Division. The competition featured thousands of teams from over 80 countries worldwide. AMMOC congratulates all participating students and mentors on these outstanding achievements.
  • In January 2026, at the British Mathematical Olympiad (I), Thomas McCormick, Parth Andhare, Prasanna Pawar, and Medha Shrivastava won an honorable mention; Keisha Kwok won a distinction. 
  • In January 2026, at the American Mathematics Competition, Prasanna Pawar earned a historic perfect score; Sumanyu Nandecha (AMC 10, 144), Madani Valenci (AMC 12, 145.5), and Rakshit Chandrashekar (AMC 10, 145.5) earned Honor Roll of Distinction; Ananya Kalia (AMC 10, 105) earned a Distinction; and Raeyaan Muppaneni (138, AMC 12), Parth Andhare (118.5), Sergei Makarevich (111), Shaurya Patil (96), and Darsan Sivakumar (99, AMC 10) earned a certification of Excellence and a certificate of Achievement for being in the top 10% internationally. They are all invited to attend AIME 2026.

  • In December 2025, AMMOC ranked 17th (among the selectively invited 76 teams of 6 students each) internationally in the Princeton University Mathematics Competition, and this year’s paper was based on the subject of the Continuum Hypothesis, 2025.
  • In December 2025, Sarang Agarwaal earned a perfect score and thus a gold medal; Alicia Huaimo earned a bronze and HM; and Aarnav Sivachandran ranked in the second quartile at the Canadian Jay Mathematics Competition of the Canadian Mathematical Society. 
  • In October, Team AMMOC earned truly international standing by winning two gold medals (each with a perfect score), one silver, one bronze, and two HMs on the Canadian Lynx Mathematics Competition of the Canadian Mathematical Society, 2025. 
  • In October, five pupils of AMMOC earned gold medals in the Senior Mathematics Challenge of the UK Mathematics Trust, and all five of them cleared the cut-off of the British Mathematical Olympiad I of the UKMT, 2025.
  • In September, 24 pupils of the AMMOC participated, and we had a breathtaking performance with 1 prize award (awarded only to one in the respective grade), 10 high distinctions, 10 distinctions, and 3 credits in the world-renowned Australian Mathematics Competition of the Australian Mathematics Trust, 2025.
  • In August, five mentees of AMMOC earned the title of Distinguished HM and HM at the Berkeley mini-Math Tournament of UC Berkeley, 2025.
  • In June, Team AMMOC was honored with a performance with honors in the Purple Comet Math Meet of the Awesome Academy of the USA, 2025.
